So, there IS a first time for everything! Tentatively got to this point, so now expect to leap off into cyberspace. Testing 123 etc. see what happens:-)
HI Chirs, Well done you got a post on your blog :-) I remember back then, in 2005, when I started my online shop in this mysterious world wide web (www) that I was awaiting with some trepidation the cyber storm of orders rolling in a n d . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . … nothing happerned. At first at least. We shall see in due course how this blogosphere will turn out :-) Cheerio r
Hi Chris i know were you are coming from never used blog before and i was expecting many things to happen like flashing lights and a fan fair and yes it did not happen but enjoy viewing other blogs for inspiration terry
Hi Chris, I am tentatively taking baby steps as well into this new world of instant responses from other people's computers. Kind of scarey and exciting at the same time. I wonder if it will become addictive like other fun and adrenalin inducing activities. Janette
good on you! I hope it doesn't become a distraction. i.e. procrastination is a problem already. I don't need another place to go to avoid the important things (Like writing my assignments:-)
Kia Ora Chris Procrastination is certainly something I am aware of in my life. Study usually comes under that heading but increasingly I find myself being drawn to sit down and read more on the issues around ethics and law. I really had such low expectations for the course but am finding the material, discussions and new insights that I am immediately putting into my practice, enlightening and a joy. the James Pennebaker audio interview was fascinating that either Robert or Terry put up as a link. I am definitely feeling very healthy lately. The regular visits to the gym theoretically should be accounting for this. Pennebaker's book "Opening up" however could be a good read. How writing your emotional story, the secret things you hold inside, when disclosed, even just to ourselves, free us from all sorts of physical dis-ease. That must be why sharing our reflections on the forums each evening is so contagious. Addictive even. I must now go and cook tea, also an addiction with me, hence the need to go to the gym. Kia kaha Janette
Hi Janette, I found that Pennebaker interview very fascinating too :-) And I like your way of writing 'dis-ease', makes one look at this word from a different angle. Nice one.
